General Usage Guidelines
- Weight Capacity: Always adhere to the recommended maximum weight limits for your specific model.
- Proper Seating Posture: Avoid sitting on the armrests, standing on the chair base, or placing uneven weight on the extreme edges of the seat.
- Prevent Impact Damage: Do not jump onto the chair or exert sudden heavy impact, as this can strain the hydraulic gas lift and structural frame.
- Indoor Environment: Keep your furniture indoors, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat sources, high humidity, or direct rain exposure.
Upholstery Care (PU Leather & Fabric Mesh)
PU Leather Chairs
- Daily Cleaning: Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and body oils.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: DO NOT use alcohol, bleach, harsh solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Chemical exposure will strip the protective coating and cause premature cracking or peeling.
- Spill Handling: Clean liquid spills immediately with a dry cloth to prevent liquid penetration.
Mesh & Fabric Chairs
- Dust Removal: Vacuum the mesh or fabric seat periodically using a soft brush attachment to clear debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For mild stains, use a mild fabric cleaner or warm soapy water with a damp cloth. Gently dab the area—do not scrub forcefully to prevent pilling or fabric tearing.
Mechanisms, Gas Lift & Wheels
- Preventative Tightening: Screws and bolts may naturally loosen over time with daily use. We strongly recommend inspecting and retightening all hardware every 6 months using the provided Allen key.
- Wheel Caster Maintenance: Hair, dust, and lint can accumulate inside the wheel casters over time. Periodically clean the wheels to ensure smooth rolling and prevent floor scratching.
- Gas Lift Hydraulics: Keep the gas lift piston clean and free of dirt build-up. Do not attempt to dismantle or lubricate the gas lift mechanism yourself.
Desk & Standing Desk Care
- Desktop Surface: Wipe the tabletop with a soft damp cloth. Avoid leaving standing water or resting piping-hot cookware directly on the surface without coasters.
- Motor & Electrical Components (Standing Desks): Ensure cables are neatly managed with sufficient slack for height adjustments. Do not overload the desk motor beyond its rated weight capacity.
- Heat Dissipation: Keep the control box and motor area free of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.
Warranty Disclaimer
Damage resulting from failure to adhere to these Aftercare instructions—including but not limited to chemical damage to upholstery, improper self-repair, physical abuse, or neglect—is not covered under the MUSSO Limited Warranty.
